By signing up for, or otherwise using the Site and any of our Services, you indicate that you have read and understand our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy and agree to abide by them at all times. If you do not agree with any of our Terms and Conditions or our Privacy Policy, then you must not use the Site or access any of its Content.

This website (https://gastrotrails.guide, the “Site”) is owned and operated by Gastro Trails Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under registration number 14327006, whose registered office address is 71- 75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, and is trading under the name “Gastro Trails” (“we”, “our”, and “us”).
“Gastro Trails” and “Site” refers to the website operated by or on behalf of Gastro Trails Ltd.
AGE AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
In order to use our Site you need to (1) be 16 years or older, (2) have the power to enter into a binding contract with us and are not barred from doing so under any applicable laws, (3) reside in a country where the Service is available. We do not assume any legal responsibility for false statements about age and you promise that all the registration information you submit to Gastro Trails is true, accurate and complete.
DATA PROTECTION
At Gastro Trails we take the security of personal information very seriously. Please read our Privacy Policy for details about the information we collect, the purpose of doing so, and your rights.
Registration requires you to provide your Name, Surname, and Email. Additionally, you have the option to use a display name / nickname / pseudonym as your username in order to keep your true identity secret in any parts of the Site where usernames are displayed (e.g., user feedback, leaderboard).
OUR SERVICE
OPTIONS
We provide various membership options, some of which are free of charge but the majority of which are in the form of paid subscriptions (which will require a payment before they can be accessed).
The description of the Services that each of our membership tiers offers will be included in the relevant subscription process so that you can be confident that what you are about to pay for, meets your requirements.
MEMBERSHIP TIERS
REGISTERED USER
Access to Gastro Trails’ Site and Services requires you to register for an account. This is the basic Tier of our membership and is free.
It gives you limited access to some of Gastro Trails’ Content and Services, and is required in order to subscribe to one of the paid memberships if you wish to do so.
SUBSCRIBED USER
A paid membership (“Subscription”, “Subscriber”) to the Site provides access to its premium features / Services.
The list of premium features available under each Membership Tier will be included in the relevant Registration form’s description, allowing you to review the features and decide whether you want to proceed.
By completing the registration form to become a Subscriber you agree to (1) these Terms and Conditions, (2) our Privacy Policy, and (3) the details included in the Registration form, which will become part of a legally binding agreement as soon as we accept your subscription request.
Your Subscription will automatically renew each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you will be automatically billed.
To cancel your Subscription, you need to notify us that you wish to cancel your Subscription.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept any subscription requests for any reason.
Memberships are non-transferrable.
TRIAL MEMBERSHIPS
From time to time, we might decide to offer Trials of our paid memberships at a reduced price or for free. These Trials will be limited in either duration (e.g., 1 week trial) or in scope (e.g., limited to a specific geographical region).
By completing the Registration form to try one of our paid memberships you agree to (1) these Terms and Conditions, (2) our Privacy Policy, and (3) the details included in the Registration form, which will become part of a legally binding agreement as soon as we accept your subscription request.
At the end of your free Trial, your membership will revert to your previous membership level / Tier.
GIFT MEMBERSHIPS
Any purchase or use of Gift Memberships is subject to these Special Terms, which are in addition to and do not replace the general Terms and Conditions of Gastro Trails.
A Gift Membership is a membership paid for by one person (the “Purchaser”) to be used by someone else (the “Recipient”). Gift Memberships, unlike other memberships, are not automatically renewed at the end of the subscription period.
Purchasing
During the purchase process, the Purchaser will choose (1) the membership Tier of the Gift Membership and (2) the duration of the membership (Gift Term Period). Gastro Trails will provide the Purchaser with a unique code that will allow the Recipient to access and activate their Gift Membership.
Gastro Trails is not responsible for loss or misuse of Gift Membership access codes.
The Purchaser is solely responsible for (1) confirming that the intended Recipient doesn’t already have a paid subscription to the Gastro Trails membership they want to gift them, and (2) informing the Recipient about their Gift Membership within 90 days of the purchase.
Gastro Trails is not responsible and assumes no liability for non-delivery of an email because of an invalid address, spam filters or any other reason.
Activating
The Recipient may activate the Gift Membership within 90 days of the purchase date by:
The Subscription Term Period will start on the activation date (provided that it is within 90 days of the purchase) and its duration will be defined by the Gift Term Period (e.g. 1 year after the activation date).
Refunds and Cancellations
Gastro Trails will not issue any refunds to the Purchaser regardless of whether the Recipient activated the Gift Membership within 90 days of the purchase, a later date or never.
Like any paid-memberships, a Gift Membership may be cancelled by the Recipient at any time but no refunds will be issued.
SERVICE LIMITATIONS
We aim to ensure our Site is always accessible, available and operational, however there may be times when our Services may experience temporary interruptions due to technical reasons, maintenance, testing or updates.
We may modify or suspend (temporarily or even permanently) some of our Services and/or Membership Tiers, without liability to you.
We may remove specific establishments from our curated catalogue without notice.
THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
Our Site contains links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party Site or service linked to on our Site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third-party websites before using these sites.
YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE
ACCOUNT CREATION / REGISTRATION
Access to Gastro Trails’ Services requires you to register for an Account.
When you create an Account on our Site, you agree to the following:
We reserve the right to decline a registration request at our sole discretion.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account if you are using our Site illegally, if you have been inactive for more than 12 months, or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
ACCOUNT TERMINATION
If you decide to terminate your Gastro Trails account, you may do so at any time by selecting the relevant option in your account dashboard.
Gastro Trails may terminate your account immediately upon identifying that you breached these Terms and Conditions.
The termination of your account will immediately cease your right and ability to access or use the Site or any of our Services.
Note that by terminating an account which has an active Subscription (in one of our paid Memberships), you will not be entitled to any refund of any fees that you have paid prior to you ceasing to use the Service.
The termination of your account will not affect (1) any rights and/or liabilities which accrued before the termination, or (2) any of the Terms and Conditions that are intended to survice after such termination.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENTS
You may purchase a Subscription for our paid membership Tiers.
The features / Services of each Tier are incremental (to the lower Tier) and clearly described in the subscription form. By way of example, the first Tier could allow you to generate unlimited itineraries, and the second Tier could facilitate you in making reservations at the restaurants included in the itinerary you generated.
The Subscriptions are paid for in full when the Services are ordered (i.e., paid in advance, pre-paid) and give you access to the selected membership Tier’s Services for a specific (e.g., monthly, annually) duration (“Subscription Term Period”).
By placing your order for a paid Subscription, you agree that we may start your Subscription immediately upon our accepting your order. This means that you are not entitled to a refund if you change your mind after we have provided you with access to your Subscription and you have successfully logged in and accessed any of the paid Services at least once.
SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS
Our paid membership Subscriptions are rolling, therefore your payment to Gastro Trails will automatically renew at the end of the current Subscription period, unless if you terminate your paid Subscription before the end of the current Subscription Term Period.
SUBSCRIPTION TERMINATIONS
You may request the termination of your Subscription to one of our paid membership tiers at any time by selecting the relevant option in your account dashboard.
If you decide to terminate your Subscription:
If you violate the Terms and Conditions, Gastro Trails may terminate your Subscription, or your Account, at any time at its sole discretion.
SUBSCRIPTION PRICE CHANGES
Gastro Trails may from time to time change the price of its paid Subscriptions. New prices will come into effect at the end of your current Subscription Term Period, during the next automatic renewal of your Subscription.
The new subscription price will be mentioned in the email that we will send you a few days before the renewal of your existing Subscription, giving you the opportunity to terminate your Subscription if you don’t agree with the new price.
Subject to applicable law, by continuing to use our paid services after the price change takes effect, you will have accepted the new price.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
If you decide to use the services of any of the establishments / service providers included in our curated catalogue you will do so at your own risk, therefore you should review the establishment / service provider’s offering and confirm that it fits your requirements and individual circumstances.
For the avoidance of any doubt, Gastro Trails' objective is to inform you about available food and travel services and not to encourage you to book any travel and/or other services.
Our recommendation engine filters our curated catalogue of establishments, based on the food and travel preferences that you decided to share with Gastro Trails during the user-onboarding and itinerary generation process, to facilitate your research and planning.
Some of those recommendations could inspire you to proceed in making a booking, but Gastro Trails will not be a party of the contract between you and each service provider and will not be responsible for any sort of loss you may suffer as a result.
If you decide to independently book any of the travel services which we suggested that you might like, you will be entering into separate contracts with each of the service providers and your payments will go directly to them.
If, after selecting and paying for one travel service, you independently book any additional travel services (that you saw in Gastro Trails’ list of recommendations, for your trip or holiday you will not benefit from rights applying to packages or linked travel arrangements under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (link), given that Gastro Trails will not be aware of any of the contracts that you entered with third-party service providers.
Therefore, Gastro Trails Ltd will not be responsible for the proper performance of those additional travel services and since your payments go directly to the relevant travel service providers, Gastro Trails has not taken out any protection to refund you, in the unlikely event it becomes insolvent, as this will not impact any of your contracts with those service provider.
In case of problems with any of your bookings or the performance of a service, please contact the relevant service provider which who you made your booking and entered a contract with.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The content of the Site is available for your personal and non-commercial use only. By using our Site you acknowledge that Gastro Trails is the sole owner of all content, including (1) all copyrights, logos, patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights, (2) audio, graphics, images, text, video and other material appearing and/or contributing to the composition of our Site.
The Gastro Trails Site and the content herein are protected by the copyright laws and other intellectual property laws of the United Kingdom.
You must not use or encourage others to use any part of the content on our Site for commercial purposes without written permission from us. If you are interested in requesting permission, please contact us at admin@gastrotrails.guide.
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of Gastro Trails Ltd.
USER GENERATED CONTENT
Users may decide to contribute content (e.g., their feedback and/or images about any of the establishments they visited during their trip(s)) to us, either by using the Site’s feedback service or by emailing us.
You take full responsibility for the content that you decide to provide, and you agree (1) not to act illegally (i.e., not in breach of any third-party rights, including their intellectual property rights), and (2) that the content you provided is factually accurate and genuine.
You will retain ownership of any content you choose to provide, but by submitting it you will be granting us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use, modify, distribute, display or delete your content at any time and at our sole discretion.
PROBLEMS AND DISPUTES
SUSPENDING AND TERMINATING GASTRO TRAILS’ SERVICES
These Terms and Conditions will continue to apply to you until terminated by either you or Us.
We may terminate these Terms and Conditions or suspend your access to the Site at any time if we believe you have breached any of these Terms, if we stop providing our Services or any material component thereof on reasonable notice to you, or as we believe necessary to comply with applicable law. In case of such terminations, you agree that Gastro Trails shall, subject to applicable laws, have no liability or responsibility to you, and (except as expressly provided in these Terms) Gastro Trails will not refund any amounts that you have already paid.
You may terminate these Terms at any time, in which case you may not continue accessing or using the Site.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS
The Gastro Trails Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied including but not limited to any warranties concerning the availability, accuracy, appropriateness, reliability, timeliness, or usefulness of the content of the Site, or any warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Gastro Trails makes no representation regarding, nor does it warrant or assume any responsibility for any third-party applications and/or linked websites, and Gastro Trails has no liability or responsibility with respect to your use of such sites and any transactions between you and any of these third-party providers.
Gastro Trails will strive to provide constant, uninterrupted access to the Site, but it does not warrant or guarantee that access to the Site and its contents, will be uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free, and it will not accept any responsibility or liability for any interruption or delay.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Subject to applicable law, you agree that your sole and exclusive remedy for any problems or dissatisfaction with the Gastro Trails Site is to stop using the Site.
In no event will Gastro Trails, its officers, shareholders, employees, agents, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, suppliers, or licensors be liable for (1) any indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages; (2) any loss of use, data, business, or profits (whether direct or indirect), in all cases arising out of the use of or inability to use the Gastro Trails services, third-party applications or websites, or third-party application content; (3) aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Gastro Trails services, third- party applications and websites, or third-party application content; (4) expenses including legal fees from your use of the Gastro Trails Site.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (FOR US AND AUSTRALIAN USERS)
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, IN NO EVENT WILL GASTRO TRAILS OR ITS AFFILIATES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT OR INDIRECT LOSS, DAMAGE, COST, EXPENSE OR LIABILITY OF ANY KIND (“LOSS”) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE AVAILABILITY, USE, RELIANCE ON, OR INABILITY TO USE THE GASTRO TRAILS SITE, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION): (i) DAMAGES FOR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS AND OTHER PROFITS, LOSS OF PROGRAMS, COST OF REPLACING EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE OR LOSS OF RECORDS, INFORMATION OR DATA, LOSS OF USE OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF CUSTOMERS, LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO REPUTATION, LOSS OF CAPITAL, DOWNTIME COSTS, LOSS UNDER OR IN RELATION TO ANY OTHER CONTRACT, OR LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS OR BENEFITS; (ii) ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS; OR (iii) ANY LOSS ATTRIBUTABLE TO ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR OTHER INACCURACIES IN THE GASTRO TRAILS SITE. THE EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY IN THIS SECTION 17 APPLIES EVEN IF GASTRO TRAILS SHALL HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS.
BECAUSE SOME STATES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PARTICULAR KINDS OF LOSS, IN SUCH STATES OR JURISDICTIONS, GASTRO TRAILS’ LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW (THEREBY MINIMIZING GASTRO TRAILS’ LIABILITY TO YOU TO THE LOWEST AMOUNT THAT APPLICABLE LAW PERMITS).
THIRD-PARTY APPLICATIONS AND WEBSITES
Gastro Trails includes links to third-party websites and uses third-party applications for some of its operations. We assume no responsibility about the quality or accuracy of the contents and/or the services provided by those third-party applications and websites. You agree that Gastro Trails has no obligation or liability arising from or related to third-party applications / websites or the content thereof made available through or in connection with the Gastro Trails Service, and while your relationship with third-party applications / websites may be governed by separate agreements with such third parties, your sole and exclusive remedy, as with respect to Gastro Trails, for any problems or dissatisfaction with any third-party applications / websites or the content thereof, is to uninstall or stop using such third-party applications / websites.

CHANGES
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate and the way we expect users to use our Site. Any revision of the Terms and Conditions will be applicable at the time it is published to our Site, and its effective date will be clearly displayed at the beginning of the document. For changes that are likely to be important to you, we may notify you in advance by email or notifications on our Site.
It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether our Terms and Conditions have changed. Your use of the Gastro Trails Site following the publication of a revision will constitute your acceptance of the changes.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
INDEMNITY
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless Gastro Trails Ltd and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy or arising out of a breach of your obligations, representation and warranties under these Terms and Conditions.
WAIVER
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
ASSIGNMENT
Gastro Trails may assign any or all of these Terms, and may assign or delegate, in whole or in part, any of its rights or obligations under these Terms. You may not assign these Terms, in whole or in part, nor transfer or sub-license your rights under these Terms, to any third party.
